Murph, "I have five agents who are willing to list my home. I was referred to you. Why should I work with you?"
Thanks, Brent, and I'll say first that there's a big difference between a real estate agent and myself, Tim Murphy, because I think like a real estate investor.
That's a big difference.
The reason is this -- I'm always thinking about your return on investment. When you list your house with me, you have to think, "Hmm, how do I maximize my return on investment? What improvements can I make to this home in order to get top dollar?"
A real estate agents might have good ideas around that, but have they actually executed what they're telling you? Have they actually taken a house, completely redone it, and maximized the value for that house.
I've done it for 17 years and I've done it hundreds and hundreds of times with my own money.
I've done it on $80,000 houses and I've done it on $1.5 million houses.
So I would tell you that when you're working with me you're getting a huge bank of experience. I've done what I said I was going to do. So when I tell you to think about changing that carpet and lighting, I know what I'm talking about. I even have mmy own design team who you can work with to maximize the value of your house. I also have a contractor and a handyman, an electrician and a plumber. All of the things that you need to actually make my recommendations happen.
I'm a real estate investor, an active real estate investor. Every single day I'm trying to maximize my return on investment. When you hire me as your listing agent I'm gonna take all my resources that I use for myself and I'm gonna give it to you. And we're gonna maximize the return on your real estate investment which is your house so that you can take that equity and you can reinvest it in another piece of real estate.
