Trust is fundamental to any relationship, especially fundamental to investing.
How do you know if you can trust the person? This is key because the number one thing to trust is doing your research because trust is not given, it's earned.
Imagine this. You're on an airplane and you're going to skydive for the first time.
You are all strapped up, but you don't have a parachute. You just have a harness. Next to you is a guy who's jumped out of the plane over a thousand times. And he still lives today to tell his stories.
He still lives today because he's the one wearing the parachute, not you. He's the one you're going to strap yourself to, go up 10,000 feet, and jump out of the plane with. Now, if that isn't trust, I don't know what is.
I'm hoping you do your research to make sure that the guy's legit.
And I'm hoping that you trust in that guy to allow you to land safely. I'm going to guess that your gut is the one thing that helped you make that final decision. Because when you're standing up there at 10,000 feet and you're looking down and your dive instructor says, Hey, you ready to jump? I hope you're ready.
And I hope you've done your due diligence because that's what it's all about.
